3 Chefs de Partie are wanted from an all day restaurant & social club in Sonning ot Thames, UK
Housed on the ground floor of a Grade II listed, former Elizabethan coaching inn, the Club features a long, curved pewter bar, original fireplaces, velvet sofas, a separate workspace, and booth and table seating. Outside, a large garden and terrace overlook the water and rooms are available for staying the night.
The menu focuses on thoughtful, unfussy, European food from small plates and snacks to grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads. The bar serves carefully-chosen wines, beers and classic cocktails as well as new creations.
The salary is £9.50/hour gross + tips on top that are shared equally between restaurant and kitchen staff. The work is maximum 45 hours a week and there is a mixture of straight and split shifts. There are currently 15 Chefs in the kitchen but they are looking to get another 8 Chefs. Accommodation is not offered but helpful rental links are provided for the candidates' facilitation.
