About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie position to join our Culinary Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
鈥 To prepare food items as assigned and in accordance with recipes and complying with Company and Hotel policies, procedures and standards to meet customers鈥 satisfaction.
鈥 To organise and set up the assigned section of the kitchen and prepare dishes as efficiently as possible to increase speed and maximise productivity.
鈥 To ensure that all dishes are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
鈥 To prepare list of product/food items required for the next day and submit to the Chef in charge.
鈥 To prepare list of tasks for mis en place for the chef on the following shift before going off duty.
鈥 To constantly maximise the quality and presentation of dishes
鈥 To work in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by your superiors.
鈥 To collect and check store orders to ensure they are of the quality and quantity required and report any discrepancy.
