About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an F&B Supervisor position to join our Food & Beverage Service Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
• To ensure the smooth running of the Outlet and assist the outlet manager / assistant manager in the most efficient, courteous and effective manner to the Jumeirah International standards of service while maintaining the restaurant profitability.
• To assist the Assistant Outlet Manager to plan, organize and supervise all processes of the outlet and provide hands-on support to food and beverage colleagues.
• To ensure the outlet provides quality service that is consistent with the restaurant Standard Operating Procedures and achieves maximum revenue and profit in line with budgeted and forecasted projections.
• Supervises all aspects of food and beverage quality, service and hygiene and escalates concerns to Management.
• In absence of an Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager takes responsibility of operational issues.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualifications
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training
• Previous Management Courses and Training
Experience
• Previous supervisory experience in a similar type of establishment
• Understanding of seasonal resort properties. German Language
Skills
• Excellent level of English
• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Demonstrates excellent supervisory and leadership skill
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Works well under pressure
• Demonstrates flexibility in working according to the needs of the business
• Excellent customer care skills
• Knowledge of Open Table System
