Manages the daily activities necessary for maintenance and promotion of the organization's wine collection. Identifies and purchases wines for the organization. Monitors the conditions of the wine cellar, ensuring optimal storage. Works with the kitchen staff to develop food and wine pairings. Recommends and serves wine to guests. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in the high end restaurant and/or in the fine hotel industry with good knowledge of international and domestic dishes. Excellent knowledge of food and wine is a must as well as fine dining operations. Culinary Certificate or Degree preferred. Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team. Attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented. Honest and energetic work ethic.
