Hotel Prinsenhof is located in monumental buildings where the Martinikerkhof and the Prinsentuin are an essential part of the experience. You can experience history with contemporary comfort, both from the outside and in the rooms of the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet and serene place in the middle of a bustling city. To strengthen our young and enthusiastic kitchen brigade, led by chef Christian de Vries and sous chef Dion ter Velde, we are immediately looking for a creative, enthusiastic and skilled independently working cook.

receiving, checking and storing ordered foodstuffs and other items. monitoring shelf life and hygiene
mise & place work
monitor shelf life and hygiene according to HACCP

Profile
As an independently working cook you work daily in the kitchen of hotel Prinsenhof Groningen (grand cafe and restaurant Nassau and banqueting) and you perform all common activities in collaboration with the chef and/or sous chef. We expect the following qualities and experiences from you
Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and products
You are used to working with only artisanal and fresh products
you are enthusiastic and eager to learn
You like to work in a team
You are stress resistant
Professional and service-oriented attitude with an eye for quality

Se ofrece

Salary: € 13.00- 15 € gross, per hour of work
Working hours: Fulltime
Workweek: Every week different schedule.
Other benefits: Vacation money & reservations 8%
Health insurance: 25,85€/ per week

Accommodation: Bedroom for yourself. Apartment Shared: living room, bathroom and kitchen.

Accommodation cost: around 500€ per month

Meals: Provides the company when you are working

Uniform: Provide yourself. (Work shoes and cook clothes)
Lines & pillows: Provided by the company
Towels: Provide yourself.


Travel cost: Boat ticket will be paid by the company.
(Keep the ticket, so at arrival the owner will refund you the money from the ticket)
The rest of the travel costs are for the candidate self.
