About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Steward position to join our Culinary Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
• To stack and wash operating equipment.
• To empty rubbish bins and bottle skips.
• To clean equipment and areas as required by Supervisor.
• To examine operating equipment for cleanliness after washing and correctly sorts and stack transferring excess equipment to circulating store room.
• To clear dishes from staff restaurant to dishwasher and when clean, return to restaurant.
• To empty mess press machine when staff restaurant closes.
• To be responsible of all equipment under his control.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualifications
• Advance Food and Hygiene Training
Experience
• Previous experience in a similar role and type of establishment
Skills
• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Works well under pressure
• Demonstrates flexibility in working according to the needs of the business
